It all started in 2014 when Peter Celinski, the founder of Milo, was on a skiing vacation with his family. His children were advanced skiers and were going on routes that Peter couldn't manage. Peter tried to keep in touch with his kids with shouts and traditional walkie-talkies. That experience, combined with Peter's expertise in audio, led to an idea. There had to be a better way to communicate on the mountain without a phone. This was the birth of Milo.
