Nextbase 322GW: The Intuitive Dash Cam.
The world’s first Dash Cam with Emergency SOS ensures your journey is safer than ever before. It will alert emergency services and call them to your location in the event of an accident and send on crucial medical data to facilitate efficient treatment. A vastly upgraded 2.5” IPS HD touch screen for menu selection and playback provides the ultimate user experience. The 322GW is also compatible with the Nextbase Rear-View Camera Modules to add a second camera. Personalise your Dash Cam and choose one of 3 different rear camera views from Rear, Cabin or Rear-View Window.
The 322GW records in a higher resolution of 1080p (1980×1080 pixels) and a frame of 60 per second to make the videos smoother than ever before. This also means that there are twice as many frames every second to capture important details such as license plate readings.
In the event of an accident, the Nextbase Emergency SOS can alert the emergency services and call them to your location. If an incident is detected, the Emergency SOS system will ring your phone to ensure you are ok. If the call goes unanswered, emergency services will be alerted automatically. The message will include crucial medical data such as blood type and medical history as well as your GPS location to facilitate efficient treatment and quickly locate your vehicle.
Using Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy technology and Wi-Fi connectivity, your latest video files can easily be sent to your smartphone or tablet. By automatically recording two videos, the low res version will be readily available to view, whilst the high res version can be downloaded for detailed analysis.
Nextbase Dash Cams use two satellites systems to detect locations as accurately and reliably as possible. Information is gathered from both the American GPS satellite and the Russian GLONAS system for unparalleled data service. On top of this, the new Nextbase Series 2 Dash Cams refresh at 10HZ. This means that every second, the Dash Cam captures 10 data readings, ensuring that the trace shown on Google Maps is accurate and smooth.
Click & Go
Our exclusive Click & Go Pro car mount has integrated magnetic power connectors. Install and remove your Dash Cam with just one hand. The high strength neodymium magnets on the mount and Dash Cam click themselves together so you are ready to go!
As soon as you park and your ignition is turned off, the Dash Cam will automatically switch into “parking mode” by shutting down everything except the G Force sensor. The sensitivity of the G Force sensor is then increased dramatically. With only the G Force sensor active, the power consumption is incredibly low, using the internal battery of the dash cam to detect any knocks or bumps to your vehicle for over a week.
A G-Sensor is an accelerometer that registers values based on the amount of force applied during an impact. Reaching a pre-set value will cause the recorded footage to be protected and moved into a folder that cannot be overwritten by any other recorded footage. The padlock will appear in the centre of the screen once the G-Sensor is activated, thus indicating to the driver that the file is locked.
Loop recording on a dash cam allows for continuous recording even if the SD memory card reaches full capacity. This means older files are overwritten once the SD card reaches its file size limit. The Dash Cam will be recording on a continuous loop when powered on. In the event of an incident, any files protected manually or by the G-Sensor will not be overwritten and stay on the SD card.
Play, edit and share your Dash Cam footage on PC or Mac (Windows 7/OSX 10.9) using the newly developed playback software MyNextbase Player. The software has been developed in-house to provide a fully enhanced playback experience, with the inclusion of an updated Google Maps feature, speed and G-Sensor readings to display all important information that can be passed on to an insurance provider.
