Click & Go
Our exclusive Click & Go Pro car mount has integrated magnetic power connectors. Install and remove your Dash Cam with just one hand. The high strength neodymium magnets on the mount and Dash Cam attach automatically so you are ready to go!
As soon as you park and your ignition is turned off, the Dash Cam will automatically switch into “parking mode” by shutting down everything except the G Force sensor. The sensitivity of the G Force sensor is then increased dramatically. With only the G Force sensor active, the power consumption is incredibly low, using the internal battery of the dash cam to detect any knocks or bumps to your vehicle for over a week.
A G-Sensor is an accelerometer that registers values based on the amount of force applied during an impact. Reaching a pre-set value will cause the recorded footage to be protected and moved into a folder that cannot be overwritten by any other recorded footage. The padlock will appear in the centre of the screen once the G-Sensor is activated, thus indicating to the driver that the file is locked.
Loop recording on a dash cam allows for continuous recording even if the SD memory card reaches full capacity. This means older files are overwritten once the SD card reaches its file size limit. The Dash Cam will be recording on a continuous loop when powered on. In the event of an incident, any files protected manually or by the G-Sensor will not be overwritten and stay on the SD card.
Play, edit and share your Dash Cam footage on PC or Mac (Windows 7/OSX 10.9) using the newly developed playback software MyNextbase Player. The software has been developed in-house to provide a fully enhanced playback experience, with the inclusion of an updated Google Maps feature, speed and G-Sensor readings to display all important information that can be passed on to an insurance provider.
Rear View Camera
The Nextbase Rear-View Camera is designed with a narrower telephoto lens to record the view of the road directly behind your vehicle. The view recorded is similar to the image seen in your rear-view mirror. It uses a 30° telephoto lens to look back through the vehicle, capturing details of the road behind, making sure you are guarded against tailgaters and rear end impacts. The Rear-View Camera can easily be installed by clicking it into the side of your front-facing Nextbase Dash Cam model. When you are using a rear-view camera module, the resolution of your front camera will automatically adjust to manage the two high-resolution video files.
